Default Do I keep the Xpand plug-in after my 1-year subscription runs out?

I've had Pro Tools 12 for appx. 6 months now and really like the Xpand plug-in but I'm not sure if that's one of the plug-ins that I will lose after my one year subscription runs out.

Does anybody know?

If you are on a subscription, you won't have anything if you don't renew.

If you have a perpetual license and you're actually talking about the annual support/upgrade plans, then, AFAIK you'll retain Pro Tools and the included plug-ins if you don't renew, but you won't receive any more updates/upgrades.

Xpand!2 is one of the VI that comes with PT and have been there for a long time so you will NOT loose it if you stop paying the annual fee you have today (1 year) and use PT as a Perpetual License. You will have it as a separate download in your avid account. Avid has separated the Xpand plugin as it's a very large file so no worries.

Sorry guys but I should have said that I have a perpetual license but I have a free one year subscription which has a bunch of plug-ins that I will lose if I don't pay up at the end of the year.

Like some of the effect pedals are only for the first year. But I'm pretty sure that Xpand is something that I will get to keep.

You will be able to use the extra plug-ins at the end of your year, if you pay the $99 for the Plug-in and Support Plan, which is now separate from the $99 Annual Upgrade Plan.

You lose the plugs in the "Added Value Content" unless you buy the plug-in plan, but as Christopher pointed out Xpand is not one of those. I don't think you'll lose it, regardless. A quick email to Avid should answer definitively.

Yeah, I don't plan on keeping the plug-in/support plan after the year is up. If I did lose Xpand, it's not the end of the world since I now have IK SampleTank 3 which is awesome but I do like Xpand too.

I could swear that I read somewhere when I first got PT 12 that Xpand is mine to keep but I wasn't 100% sure.

Ok, last post about this from me : XPAND is included in the standard PT Vi and Plugin roster and will NOT disappear when you stop paying for any annual plan and let it lapse to a Perpetual license.

Avid has taken out the installer to be a separate one as the actual DAW Installer was over 2.5 GB before they did that.

So You will Not loose Xpand as its a part of PT. 100000000000% certain!
