Default Something coming at NAB?

Avid is upgrading their education store which will be back online the 12th of April.

Hmm, NAB starts the 12th of April. And the following text on the NAB newspage of Digi's website (red text for emphasis):

Avid audio and video creative tools showcase, along with the latest innovations in workflows for
RED, XDCAM HD, P2, 3D stereoscopy, music creation, surround mixing, among others.

Is Avid brewing something that'll be revealed at NAB?

Hope so!

Well, for start there's gonna be a whole new AVID website. That's clear now.

I knew something was coming. I'd rather have it to be Pro Tools 8.1 but hey, that might still happen.

Mid month may show us something but NAB is not the place where music production tools are usually unveiled. Hyperventilate with caution.

I'm guessing they are going to be showing off the now shipping PTIEP and expounding on the virtues of the CPTK.

I'm with Tom but surprises are always welcome.
