Linked Matrixes?

Trying to make a stereo output out of 2 linked mono matrixes.

I go to matrix 1 and assign the input of one of the channels to Mains/Left - turn it on and turn it up.

I go to matrix 2 and assign the input of one of the channels to Mains/Right - turn it on and turn it up.

Go over to options/bussing and link the matrixes 1 and 2 (I want to put a stereo plugin across them)

The mix to matrix 1 has changed - it now looks like matrix 2 - Mains/right is turned up and on. Its a mirror. Whatever I change on one matrix changes on the other.

That's because you linked the matrixes.
Just turn them both on and up and pan them hard left and right, very easy.

No pans unless they're linked.
No stereo plugs unless they're linked.

have you tried linking them, then patching in the main left and right?
