Default Mbox faders grayed out

Hi;

I just got the new Mbox (standard) with Pro Tools LE. The Mbox has a little mixer built in. It works great when Pro Tools is not launched. When I launch Pro Tools, the output side works (of course), but the faders on the input side of the mixer go to -infinity and get grayed out and I can no longer move them. Since no matter what you do, there are always some small latency problems, I'd like to be able to monitor my input off the Mbox while recording. Is it possible? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Greg Frey
