Default Ocean Way Drums

I typically don't advertise anything on here, but wanted to pass along a deal. Platinum Samples recently released Ocean Way drums that sound absolutely killer. I did a short write up and some info about them. But they wanted to pass along a 50% off crossgrade coupon. There are audio examples on the Platinum samples website.

Platinum Samples site:

Our site with the write up and coupon code.

I am wondering if these will be available via....the normal default Drum Vi's formats....

SD, BFD, SSD,

I am wondering if they are only going to be pushing the Accent format from now on.....

Good job steve...thanks for the info.

I honestly dont know. It is protected via Ilok which is a first for Platinum Samples and not sure if there may be a deal to keep it protected so only will be compatible with Accent. I know there is plans to expand libraries and abilities of Accent as well. BFD3 would be nice for me personally though. SSD I highly doubt, but SSD4 is such a turd performance wise, I really dont care even though I own it. I dont like using it as you basically have to expect it to crash every time you open it!

OWD is one of the best sounding drum libraries I have heard in quite awhile though! 75$ for 4 kits with the deal is killer. The room sounds are just insane!

Yeah BFD3 just because I don't want to have to learn anything else.

I will have to listen with better monitors.....thanks again.

Considering Rails involvement in BFD, it was not terribly different. There were a couple of things that made me scratch my head for a second like linking kit pieces, but its quite simplistic in comparison to BFD, so there was not a lot to actually "learn" that was not instinct. The usual problem of mapping between different VI's was about the only thing that took much time and I have that issue with every VI...
