Default OMF error: OMFI_ERR: Bento container error; In omfsOpenFile. on open/import

I am on Pro Tools 2020.3.0 and OS 10.14.6 and trying to import/open an OMF file created with Adobe Premiere but I get this error:

Code:
Could not complete your request because OMFI_ERR: Bento container error; In omfsOpenFile.
Any ideas how I can avoid this or import an OMF file succesffully?
Does it need to be saved in a certain way in Adobe Premiere or should OMF open regardless of export/saving settings that were used?

The text file that was saved by Premiere along with the OMF file contains this info:

Code:
OMF Export started.
MZ 13 07 26
Make sure your Pro Tools settings match the export settings.
Check below for error messages
Start Time is: 00:00:00:00
ProTools Offset value is: 0:0.000
Frame Rate is: 23.976 fps
You can set this in Track Offset Options in Pro Tools.
Initializing OMF Export
Clip volume above +6dB was clamped to +6dB
   19 11 26
Exiting OMF Export.

I'm just starting to test out 2020.3 and I'm seeing this error too. Haven't found a solution yet.

Have you made any progress on importing OMF's in 2020.3?

Thankfully, I waited for a break between major projects to upgrade.
I had 3 small projects to do today. 2 of the OMF's imported perfectly, but 1 of them gave me the Bento error.
Temporarily solved by importing into an older version of Pro Tools, then importing that session into 2020.3.0

Good to know some OMF's will work. I'll keep trying them over time. I had the time today to test, but switched back to my main rig on 2019 for the work. Too many compatibility issues with Catalina to make it work for now.
I really hope the video workflow tools are a high priority for the next 2020 release.

Yep, I received two more OMF's yesterday, and they both opened fine.
So, only one out of five gave me the Bento error. The other four, opened fine.
I am willing to upload the one that would not open, to Avid, if it would help them figure this out.

Do you happen to know where the OMF's came from? The one I tried yesterday that wouldn't work was an embedded OMF from Premiere. I received a linked OMF today from Adobe Audition that worked just fine.

They were all five from Premiere (but two different clients) and embedded. All opened fine, except one.

I had just called AVID tech support yesterday about this and they are working on it and will be addressed on an update. Hopefully soon but with with what's going on, probably by 12-15-20
However when I upgraded from OS Sierra with PT 2019.12 to OS HS 2020.3. I had completely cloned my BD. So my work around is to plug in the old back up clone, reboot off that HD that has PT 2019, open the OMF/AAF. Then close, reboot back to my normal SSD BD.
How something of this magnitude was not caught in beta or testing is beyond me. A lot of people work from AAF's from Premier through out the world, just like a lot of people work with picture. Opening/importing an OMF/AAF and Picture is kind of the bread and butter of everything PT stands for. Very frustrated that I didn't really want to renew but felt folder tracks was another game changer for us, only to find out its missing one huge important and imperative feature. Importing work from clients

Pro Tools 2020.5.0 has now resolved this issue for me.
