Pro Tools opens if Digi 002 was on from startup??
Hi. I was wondering why this is happenning:
If I 1. Start my computer. 2. TURN ON Digi 002R. 3. Open Pro Tools, it hangs during Setting UP DAE. But if I 1. TURN ON Digi 002R. 2. Start my computer. 3. Open Pro Tools, everything works fine. So the DIGI 002 Rack needs to be on when I start my computer up. By the way, same thing happens with the other progams if I want to use the ASIO driver. If you think that it might be the firewire card, mine is one of the 4 supported by Digidesign. Thank you in advance. |

Re: Pro Tools opens if Digi 002 was on from startup??
Try this if the computer was on before you turned on the 002:
Right Click My Computer select properties. Select the hardware tab and then device manager. Right click your computers name and select scan for changes. For some reason your system isn't setup to auto recognize new firewire devices without a restart. It could be a plug and play setting. I'll look into it today and see if I can find anything on it. Good Luck -KP
