Default Mackie Control \"Touch Sensitive\"? d8b is a Joke...

Tell me the "Touch Sensitive" portion of the Mackie Control
is better than that of the d8b running in HUI mode.
The d8b fights back if there is automation already written
and you try to auto latch or auto touch a move. HOW FRUSTRATING!

Are the faders on the Mackie Control plastic like the d8b, or are
they metal with a "static touch" sorta thing?
I'd hate to have to spen 6K on a Focusrite.
Thanks,
Adrian

they're metal, and touch sensitive (and they're not noisy)
