Mic inputs and PT 2023.6 and Avid S1

I am experiencing strange behaviour when using the microphone inputs on my MTRX Studio. When using the S1 in flip mode with the mic gain on the faders this strange behaviour results in the faders (and hence the gain) being pulsed to zero and back up. It is as if the mic inputs are being scanned by something. In the PT edit window with the mic inputs showing on the channel strip, the graphic within the mic input box flashes dark and then back to normal. I have a rough video to demonstrate this behaviour but unfortunately I cannot upload it to this thread. It is clearly a bug introduced to the new software version of PT because if I revert to 2023.3 and lower this behaviour does not happen. This post may be better off in another forum.
