Can't play or record in Protools 10.2

I recently purchased a new laptop and have installed pro Tools 10.2 on it. When I push play the button flashes and nothing happens. When i Record the record button flashes, the the stop flashes, then the play button flashes and again nothing happens. I have 10.2 on my desktop and it runs just fine. I am using the same 003 on both computers.

I have tried deleting the Database file, the DAE Pref files, and the Avid Logs. When I do that I get playback but once start a new session or restart the program I get the issue again

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. I have a session tomorrow and I was hoping I wouldn't have to take my desktop to my clients house.

My new computer is a Sony VAIO F Series with Windows 7 64bit, Intel i7, 8GB DDR3 RAM, and a GeForce GT 540.

Do you have Wait for Midi note enabled? Its the clock looking icon at the upper left of the transport buttons.

It was off. When I click it the button just flashes and I still can't play or record. I tried swapping out my firewire cable today as well, still no luck.

I have deleted the database, avid logs, and the files in the Unicode/volume folder. I was able to make a new session and record a track but I was unable to play it back.

I just changed my buffer size from 512 to 1024 and the song started playing then stopped and quit working. Changed back to 512 same thing played then stopped.
