Default Renting Out Equipment

Hey Hey!

I'm renting a mic to a local studio.

Can anyone direct me to a template for a rental agreement or invoice that would be appropriate?

I'd like to do this once in awhile.

Thanks,
Archmart

You're renting one microphone? I sure hope it's something other than an SM57.

Just type up a written agreement stating: what it is you are renting, for how much, for how long, to whom, and that the renter is responsible for replacing in case of loss, theft, or damage. Place for both parties to sign and date at the bottom.

If you are feeling really industrius, get it notarized.

Hey Hey!

Thanks for the input.

It's a U87Ai and it's to a very trusted colleague, but still, it would be nice to make it all official for his boss's sake and for accounting later at tax time.

Thanks,
Archmart

most office supply stores have generic contract type forms (Order, Invoice, Rental[house but may be tweakable])
