Pro Tools 9 Session Running Very Slow
I've been using my system for a few years now and have never had this problem. I've been working on a song for a while now and it's been going fine until suddenly it started operating too slow to work with. I've tried bypassing all plugins and making every track inactive and that doesn't help at all. If I open older versions of the session they work fine. It seems like the processor is busy doing something, but I have no idea what. One thing I've noticed is that MISCELLANEOUS SETTINGS seems to take a while to restore during launch.
PLEASE HELP, this song is turning out awesome and I really don't want to have to remake it from scratch. Pro Tools 9 Macbook Pro 10.6.8 |

Re: Pro Tools 9 Session Running Very Slow
I fixed the problem, but I'll leave this up for anyone else that may encounter a similar problem.
I had one (instrument) track that was a trouble maker. Disabling the track didn't fix it, nor did disabling anyone single on of the plugins. Neither did deleting the the midi info. I have no idea why this track started causing problems, but deleting it entirely was the only solution. |
