Over all monitor sound volume question.. newby

I'm obviously new to PT, so with that in mind.....I was using fast track pro(not with PT) no problems with volume just crank it to where ever wanted, with the Mbox 2 and PT, I don't see how to get the monitor volume up..master fader cranked, track cranked and monitor knob on the box cranked right...mix knob call the way right...what am I not seeing....

How are you monitoring? What is your signal path? (meaning, where are you cables plugged in, what cables are you using, what monitors, etc.)

Mbox 2 => monitor out = > yamaha 70 watt powered monitors mogami cables..

mix full right, monitor full right...i can hear it, can't the level up...thanks

If you put on the pink noise signal generator plugin at around -12 to -18 dbfs reading at the master fader (i can't recall the mbox calibration at the moment), what level does a SPL meter show you on average from the listening position?
