Help!: Anyone using Expansion|HD chassis?

Here's my setup:
Digi/Avid approved xw8200
Expansion|HD chassis, HD 6 Accel
192 I/O, Sync I/O, Midi I/O, PRE, Mojo
PT 7.1cs3, MediaStation 1.8.2, Waves Diamond 5.0.3

When I switch the playback engine's hw-buffersize to 256 samples (128 setting), I get an error message after a few seconds saying that there's not enough CPU bandwidth to communicate with the chassis.
When using 3 HD cards in the CPU I have no problems running with the low buffersize.

It seems I can choose between running RTAS instruments, OR using the expansion chassis!!!???
