DAE Error 201 on OS X

I have an iMac G3 500
I was running 9.2 when I downloaded PTF and it ran well, now that I ready to get down and busy it crashes everytime.
Oh... I should add that it happened as soon as I did an install to OS X... but I also run OS 9.2 (Classic) and still the same problem... I even deleted the OMS & PTF pref. and nothing... Can anyone help me. [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]

take a look at the compatibility pages for ptfree. I think osx is just not supported....

Pro Tools won't even run in Classic mode. You have to boot totally in OS 9.

I tried that and I still got the same error... is there something else that I should have done in addition to that. [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]

Maybe try re-installing. Perform a Sherlock to find all Pro Tools Free preferences, extentions and files. Throw them away and re-install. Make sure your totally in OS9 and not in Classic.

GOT A NEW I-BOOK, HAVING THAT ERROR TROUBLE TOO. EVEN OFF PRO.T.FREE's C.D. ARE NEW I-BOOKS FULL DUPLEX WITH THE i-MIKE?

P.S. My errror is "DAE error 228".Any advice out there?

Go to the Sound Control Panel and set your Input and Output to Built In.
