Shopping for a new digital interface

Hello,

I was told, and correct me if I'm wrong, that PT9 allows you to record with interfaces other than m audio? I have an mbox2 right now but am looking to upgrade to an interface with more inputs, 4 or preferably 8. Any suggestions on good, inexpensive interfaces that could work?

It depends mostly on your budget. Have a look at the Focusrite Saffire or Scarlett range. Nice pres for the price, great customer service and very stable performance with PT9/10.

Correct! As of PT9, and now we're on PT10, virtually any interface of your choosing will work. As stated, it comes down to the quality you want and the money you're willing to spend to get there.
