Default MBox broken?

Hello, so my MBox2, about 5 years old now, just took a short fall off of my desk and onto the carpet and now it's not working any more, it's not recognized. Has anybody had a similar problem like this? Any ideas on where the problem lies or if I can fix it?

was it connected to anything when it fell?
I would check those connections first for broken connectors or the board around them

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the usb port that's broken. I'd try and fix it myself but I don't have any soldering tools. Guess I got to take it in..?

Which Mbox? If its the original light blue version, I would not bother at all as its no longer supported past PT version 8.0.1. Even if its later(Mbox2), it may be cheaper to buy a used one as most electronics repair places are between $75 and 90 per hour.
