I just don't get it??? (MDW Upgrade)

Thanks for all the info guys, I do really appreciate it the help.
Is there a way for me to demo MDW? I want to try it out to make sure I don't get the issues that many are reporting with this plugin. I've been using this plugin on other platforms since WAY back with my VS-2480, and for me it's a must have. However, I need a stable version that won't give me any issues whatsoever. Having the ability to demo MDW would allow me compare with UAD's version, which I'm demoing now (working flawlessly). I would rather go with Avid's v5 version via the upgrade versus having to pay full price for Uad's version.
