Pro Tools 11 Digital Download question

If I purchase the Digital Download version of Pro Tools 11 on sweetwater.com can I then install that on a windows computer? I have a macbook pro and I'm looking

to get a Windows machine as well.

Yep. You can install Pro Tools on as many Mac or Windows computers as you want. You need your iLok attached (and left attached during use) to whatever computer you want to use. When you purchase Pro Tools 11, you get the download for Mac and Windows deposited in your Avid account.

Remember the common issue, is not just installing Pro Tools, it's making sure the system is good enough to actually be able to run Pro Tools reliably. And there are many more issues on the Windows side than on the Mac side. Just "getting a Windows machine" can often end in tears with Pro Tools. You really should look at building a PC yourself or getting one build specifically for Pro Tools. There are great threads on DUC about building a i7 based PC for Pro Tools. Windows laptops can be especially problematic.

I just bought the upgrade. Do I have to uninstall the trial before installing the registered version?
