Converting Instrument Tracks To Audio Tracks - No Velocity or Pitch Bend Data?

Hi guys,

I’m converting my instrument tracks to audio tracks, by simply dragging the instrument track region down to the blank audio track below it.

That process works fine, however it appears that no velocity or pitch bend data is being included during the conversion. If I solo the audio track it just sounds like a loud version of the instrument track without any of the dynamics and nuances. I’m using VSTs ranging from Sampletank to Arturia.

Anyone know how to convert to audio track while retaining all its dynamics (velocity, pitch bend, modulation etc)?

Freeze it or record it to a separate track
