M Box and Digital Performer
I just got a new M box to go along with my 001(and soon 002!)...I'm running it through a new i book 600mhz with 256mb RAM and OS 9.2.1 and I am having a few problems with digital performer 3.02. Most of the time when Perfomer is launched, I get static instead of sound. all the right extensions are on, and I am using MAS as my audio system. The Mbox firmware and USB driver have both been updated. The only thing that seems to work is to re-plug the USB cable on the M Box while the computer is running, then it seems to operate. Also, when the M Box inputs are set to "Inst", It emits a loud hum when there's nothing pugged into them when the input levels are set close to maximum. Has anyone else experienced this, and is it normal?
Any help would be appreciated here. Thanks.

Re: M Box and Digital Performer
I use a TiBook 800 and DP with my Mbox. No problems like that at all. No noises....
