Default Mbox without any input sound

Hi,

I just buy a used Mbox 2 for a 'to good to be true' price. It's suppose to be in full working order, but I have some doubt.

All lights are on (exept the peaks), system detect the Mbox and I have the playback from Pro-Tool in my headphone, but I get no sound from my guitar. I've try both line-in, playing with the mix and gain, a few setting in PT, even some recording, nothing.

Did I miss something? I just want to make sure I've tried everything before starting some war agains the seller.

Thanks!

arm the track, and you probably need to mess with the Mix knob.

Be sure to look through the setup guide.

If by 'arm' you meen making the track ready for recording, I've already tried. I've also tried to recorded, the track was a audio track and the input was assigned. Nothing, only a flatline.

I wonder if it's a problem with Vista. Because I can see the Mbox in 'Device Manager', but if I go in 'Sound' there's nothing (I've diseble my onborad sound card in the BIOS).

For the record, it's a Mbox 2 with PT 8.0 running on a Dual Core 2.6, 3mb of RAM with Vista 32 bits.

Any idea?

Thanks!
