Pro Tools 8 LE and NI Battery 3 startup problemo
Hi
I just bought PT LE 8 with Mbox mini. I am trying to use Native Instruments Battery 3 with it. At PT startup I get a Native Instruments popup that says: "Installation folder not writable please select folder now" Whatever folder I select I get the same message, so I press cancel instead of ok then I get a message saying that no authorisation can be found for battery or it is corrupted then it terminates. Battery 3 is running fine as a standalone or in Cubase. I found this post on the NI forums but I cannot find a folder anywhere on my computer called "library/application support/digidesign http://www.nativeinstruments.de/forum_us/showthread.php?t=46289 I'm running Windows Vista |

Re: Pro Tools 8 LE and NI Battery 3 startup problemo
The link is referring to a Mac, hence the reason why you can't find the folder.
Not sure about this, but the equivalent folder could either be: Program Files>Common Files>Digidesign or Program Files>Digidesign But i've never come across the error personally. |
