Problems with PT LE with Mbox connected

I recently bought a new Mbox mini about 3 Weeks ago. I installed the drivers ect and has been working fine. However yesterday when I tried to open PT it gave an error saying that no digidesign product was connected. I checked connection unplugged restarted and plugged mbox in, still not opening PT. I can still get audio output through the speakers connected to the mobx and also there is power going to the mbox as well. The computer recognizes Mbox mini as the computers audio output in the control panel. I Usewindows xp but have had no problems. What is my next course of action. My thought was to uninstall the entire program and reinstall it on the computer. Need help, just bought and was working fine for 3 weeks no problem.
