Default HELP WITH PT MIDI

1--while setting up and instrument track in PT 7 and using rewire and reason how do i go about setting my levels so my final cd cut doesn't distort. a...set levels in each reason instrument..b..record all first then bring levels down in pt mix....(i heard that this way its to late)
2--how to copy midi notes on an instrument track (all at once) and paste them into another instrument track.
3--how to download midi internet song then open it / edit it / save it to cd /

(1)Creating an AUX track will give you the ability to set your recording levels as high as possible into PT, but make sure that you leave enough headroom for EQ etc., then balance your levels later when you do your mixing. Buss the AUX Output to Instrument track Input and record enable it, select Input Monitor Mode and adjust your AUX Fader accordingly. One question thou, are you routing through Reason's reMIX or bypassing this?

(3) Download the MIDI Data as normal, save it to a location where you can find it, then use the Import MIDI to Track or Region command.
