General micing question (request for opinion)...

I am going to play an upright bass for a relatively large crowd next week (7-10k people). The engineers most likely won't be of any help in the micing department so here goes:

I have the choice of micing with an AKG 414 BULS, Neumann TLM-103, and an SM57. I was planning on shoving the 57 in the sound hole (it just barely fits), and micing the strings with the 414 or TLM-103. Which should I choose?

part of my choice would be: because of the crowd situation, i think the 414 on the hypercardioid pattern would be a better choice to help eliminate some of the background and get a tighter pickup on the instrument.i might also think about rolling off the lows on the 414 a bit if a 57 will be in its butt. hope that helps, good luck!

Also think about one of those general purpose pickups to get the lowend. Then mix it in with one of the other mic's. I personally wouldnt use an sm57 because i want a big diafragm mic in there/near there.
