Default Dumb Group Tracks Question

OK....I'm forgetting something...I know it....but...

Sometimes I group a bunch of tracks. Then, I can pull just one of the faders and all of the faders in that group respond, as you would expect.

Just now I did it, and although the group is selected and all those tracks are highlighed, when I pull down a fader, only that single fader moves. What am I forgetting here?

Thanks

The Control modifier acts as a clutch.

Check to see if a letter is showing in the group box on each of the faders in the group. If not, they have somehow became un-grouped. Check the bottom left hand panel which shows all groups. you may have inadvertantly "suspended" groups or turned some off.

Hey you big dummy! Just in good fun...

I'm on LE, but this should work for both systems. Follow what Stereo Type said about the groups panel. Make sure that the particular group is highlighted. This should bring up the group letter on each grouped channel, and then it should be good. I think that's the way to set groups. I do it do often that I don't even think about it anymore. I goup so much.

And yes, I said goup. It's like goop, only better!!

Best of luck,
Andy
