fruityloops (fl studio) users - bitrate question
from what im seeing here i can export wav files from FL using 16 or 32 bit resolution. why no 24? whether im using FL to create my clicktracks or beats, the LE 7.x software is going to require the imported files to have the same format as the session right? what do you do about this scenario? will LE 7 automatically dither down to the current session format ? what will protools do with an imported wav that doesnt meet the session audio sample or bitrate format?

Re: fruityloops (fl studio) users - bitrate question
I would guess your files would be converted to session format. I import 16 bit files into 24 bit sessions all the time with no problems. Still I'm not sure about 32 bit files, haven't tried that yet.
