DIGI001 & Soundmax Onboard works??

Hi I have a Digi001 for a long time.
Now I Upgraded the System. and Protools is working fine.

But I am still having a lot of problems with Windows aplications that use Sound.
I set the Digi as Audio Insterface and worked with MME helper, But problems persists...

Right now I am thinking about Use the Onboard audio device for Windows Apps. in parallel with Digi leaving the Digi only for PTLE.

Could this bring me more problems or it is a workable solution?

I find that for the most part my on board sound works fine, although it does induce a noticeable performance hit. it is really the only solution to a horrible wave driver.

unless I am maxing out, it is usually not an issue for me. Results will vary.
