Ampli*&^%$Łtube again!!!
Guys - Amplitube question
Can you help me? What am I not getting here with Amplitude. I track a clean guitar to a click so that I can write my drums around the guitar and click track. Then I want to add Amplitube to my guitar track later. I like to chop up the clean guitar track, copy the chops to new tracks and add different instances of Amplitube to each chop. That's the theory but why is it that when I open a new Amplitube plug on the different gtr tracks I get the same preset as the previous track and when I change it, it goes global and changes the Amplitube setting for the previous track? Is it not possible to have different instances of Amplitude with different settings on individual tracks? |

Re: Ampli*&^%$Łtube again!!!
Where are you saving your Amplitube settings? I save mine in the session plugin folder and recall them to the plugin not to Amplitube.I have no problem using multiple instances of Amplitube. Is yours the bundle version or the full retail version?

Re: Ampli*&^%$Łtube again!!!
Hi Bazzle
I'm using full version with 98SE, PT v. 5.1.1.3. The presets are the factory standards, not my own. What do you mean when you say you recall the settings to the plug-in, not to Amplitube? |

Re: Ampli*&^%$Łtube again!!!
On your plugin where you see probably 'Factory Default'.push the little down arrow and a little drop down opens up.>Save plugin settings as> give the setting a name.It will ask you where you want to save it.Save it in the session preset folder.Do that with every instance of Amplitube you open. Then when you open the session you will recall the presets from that little drop down.Although mine are always correct when i open the session. Also at the bottom of the drop down there is a Preferences tab choose> Save plugin settings to Session Folder.I hope that is clear I type about as good as I ski which is not at all. PS let me know if this works for you

Jonah.. I was just gonna post this... Page 16 of the "Digirack plugin guide" is where you'll find a better explanation than mine...I'm happy I could help, it's a case of the "blind leading the blind'
