Default Eleven Rack/PT question

Hello,.. I know this is gonna be like some of the lamest questions ever.. but bear with me.. I'm blonde and have een hit in the head... A LOT!
1.) I'm using an 11R with PT 8 LE and wanted to know first.. how to delete PTF/sessions if I don't want to keep them?.. how do I delete the entire song/session? and/or where do I find those folders?

2.) I was doing a session today and noticed that whenever I started 11R/PT; I see in a folder that pops up during the starting dialob boxes.. second one that pops up after it ask about finding waves folders.. there's this "Session File Backups" folder and it shows a group file.PTFs..

Name date modified
bak.00.ptf.00 11:31am
bak.00.ptf.01 11:38am
bak.00.ptf.02 11:47am
bak.00.ptf.03 11:55am
bak.00.ptf.04 11:55am
bak.00.ptf.05 12:00pm
bak.00.ptf.06 12:15pm
bak.00.ptf.07 12:42pm

These btw are associated with the particular session that I don't want to keep/delete.. so I'd like to get ride of these as well..
and lastly..3.) the ptf's for the demos such as Filtered Dream, Full Session, etc.. these I'm assuming are on the 11R drive somewhere as they pop up in the Quick Start dialog box when opening up a session, etc.. is it possible to remove these as well? wouldn't that free up some space/memory?

MUCH thanks in advanced. ANY and ALL help and guidance is GREATLY appreciated.

Whenever creating a new session, you are prompted where to save the session to. If you want to delete the entire session just delete the folder where you saved it to. BTW, this should be on a separate drive to your system drive in case you didn't know.

All of a sessions files are kept in the same folder (unless you direct it to do otherwise). So if there is any part of, or all of a session you want to get rid of, just delete the relevant files/folders. This is usually best done from within Pro Tools (if not deleting whole session) so that the PTF file doesn't go looking for information that has been deleted. Backup files are usually important to keep as they can save a lot of time if you experience session crashes etc. So unless deleting a whole session because you no longer want it, I'd keep backups.

Same as answer to question 1.
