Hardware Inserts
this conference ROCKS,
does anybody else insert thier hardware(bbe,klark eq,220,alex,etc) on mix time? it doesn't seem to degrade the quality, or are my ears out to lunch. also any advise on...B&W verses Mackie 824 (could the mackie's be coloured?) thanks,Dan |

I've heard some B&W yrs ago but never worked with them. Yes I think the Mackies are coloured. We just switched to KRK expose 7. I was having a tough time getting things I wanted from the Mackies. I worked with them for 5yrs. I've done lots of projects with them but I've always felt the bottom was muddy or just to thick sounding. It was like eqing blind folded. I couldn't really hear what was going on. The KRK's felt dull at first but I just kept checking out every cd I own and when going back to Mackies you really can hear how hyped they are. I feel like I can work much longer on the E7 then the Mackies without frying my ears all day. So we are selling the Mackies now. Good luck
