Default Reduce/Increase HW/Buffer Size Problem :(

Hi all. I have recently purchased a 002 rack. I have been having serious problems however. When I try to record/bounce a track or even a whole set (if it ever lets me get that far), PT keeps telling me to increase buffer size. Then when I have increased it, it almost immediatetly tells me to decrease it. I have tried to change DAE settings to no avail. I am running Win xp Sp1 and my system met the requirements and recommendations of the digidesign hardware database. I have become so fed up with it that I have gone back to using Cubase sx with the 002 rack---where there are no problems. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Lee
