Pro Tools Update question

Hello gents. This might be a stupid question but have to ask. I constantly have work but would love to try pro tools 2018. I purchased but haven't installed as I haven't had time to go through all the updating (plugs/os/etc).

Now I have my main hard drive that has pro tools 10 on it and also have a new ssd drive that I loaded os10.13.6. Question is, if I register my new pro tools and load on the new drive 2018, will I not be able to load my older hard drive and work on pt10? Would there be any problems? This might be more of an ilok question, like will I have to surrender my pt10 license?

Absolutely no problem running two different versions of PT on two different drives.

As for ilok, the perpetual bundle includes licenses for PT 10-11-12(2018) so even if you surrender the old license, the new one will still allow you to use PT 10.
