Is CD Import still possible on Windows w/ QuickTime?
I know the manual now says "Mac Only" for CD import into Pro Tools, but is there a known way to still do this on Windows, with QuickTime installed?

Yep, me too. I have to use Roxio to rip the CD. Something’s broken, but apparently only for some of us. I uninstalled/reinstalled Pro Tools, no change. |

Re: Is CD Import still possible on Windows w/ QuickTime?
Now the burning question….if we were to grab that .exe from a previous version of Pro Tools BEFORE they broke it, and just install that into 2021.3.1, what happens?

Re: Is CD Import still possible on Windows w/ QuickTime?
Who else gets this error message? (The CD ROM service (digiSPTI.exe) is not installed, not registered, or damaged.) As I’d mentioned, I’m using Roxio to rip CDs when I need to import audio from CD, but this has worked within Pro Tools for YEARS, up until now. AVID! Add new features, break the old ones we used to count on? And I’ll ask again, would it work to grab this file from a previous, working version, and run the .exe?
