Default Recording rewire tracks in PT 7.3.1 HD

Hey all,

I'm most likely missing something obvious here but how do you do this? Tracks will not record unless an input is set from the track but of course the rewire runs as a plug, not an input. Just wanna bounce a track running from Reason rewired into our PT project but i cant seem to do this. Guess i just have to solo the track and bounce to disk? Any way to record directly on the actual track?

Cheers,
James

Typically, when using rewire, you insert the rewire plug for the program on an AUX track and use it virtually. When/if you want to "print" the track, you would bus the output to a record enabled audio track and just record.

I haven't done this in a little while, not since i upgraded, but I'm sure it's still the same.

On the track that you have your rewire insert on make both the input and the output the same bus. Then record enable the channel and it should record reason onto that channel. Then move the audio region to a new channel.

Hope that helps. It did work for me awhile ago.
