no click heard in Record mode

Using click, with 2 bar pre-roll. After toggle to mix window, then back to edit window - click heard only in Mix window (not edit window. Saved and quit session. Restarted. click works in Edit window, but not after toggling to mix window.

I like to buss the aux track(with the click plugin) to a new audio track and record 4 bars of click. Then I will trim(in grid mode) to an extact 4 bar region and repeat that section enough times to cover the length of the song. Once that is done, I delete the aux track. Just works better for me.

If you insert the click plugin on an aux track , and low latency monitoring enable - when you arm a track for record all the plugins including the click plugin will change to bypass mode ,
