"How about HEAT native? That would be nice or update those missing tdm plugins"

Heat now runs natively in HD Native. I previously ran it in HD Accel TDM-land, and the same iLok auth works for the current version. This was included in one of those first versions of 12.

How about the extreme sluggishness in El Capitan without Quartz Debug!

Default Pt 12.4

Yeah when I first read his post, I thought the same thing, that he was saying Heat for HDN.

But after reading it again I am pretty sure he wants Heat for Vanilla

Unlikely they're going to release anything new now - too close to the holidays in case something goes horribly wrong with the rollout (which doesn't seem to be that rare for AVID...).

I know what you meant - but I wanted to clarify for anyone else reading this page, because using the word "Native" when talking about HD can be a bit confusing.

Heat runs with Pro Tools HD software, and no longer requires HDX hardware. You can use whatever audio interface you want, whether that be HD Native, MBox, and even third party ones.

I hate to seem jaded, but Avid won't release anything until after December 31. That's why I upgraded.

Really? I have 11.3.1 HD on an mbp with HEAT in the plugs folder. HEAT license is on the ilok.
HEAT isn't available in the options menu.
What is ? … do I need 12.3.1 running?

What's the MIDI volume bug? Is it where MIDI volume sometimes goes about 15 db lower, even though the MIDI volume CC in PT hasn't changed?
