Default Can Pro tools use 16gb ram on a Macbook Pro late 2011
Can Pro Tools 10 utilize 16gb of ram on a new late 2011 17" quadcore Macbook Pro?

I don't think so seeing it is still 32 bit native, which means it is still limited to 4 gigs max.

For disk caching yes, for 64-bit operation with VIs and the software itself, nope.
