24.3 Pan window and floating clip fx messing focus bug
Hi there,
I'm getting a rather annoying window focus issue that disables the edit window shortcut focus when working. To reproduce try this: -set clipfx window to floating and always on top and place it anywhere over your edit window. -open the pan window of a track -make sure your window focus is the edit window and the shortcuts and working (az is orange) - punch in a memory location hitting enter and OK. -now try to undo by pressing Z doesn't work as the az indicator has lost focus. none of the shortcuts work unless you manually click into the edit window. Try the same this time without the pan window open and all works as intended. It's really annoying as it constantly disrupts workflow with redundant clicks into the timeline to get the focus back. The issue happens when ever you do something that brings up a dialog-box. After closing it your shortcuts don't work anymore. I hope this can be fixed. Frank.

Try unchecking the "Keep Window on Top" for the detached Melodyne or Clip fx window.

Re: 24.3 Pan window and floating clip fx messing focus bug
Hm...what's the purpose of a floating window when it can't float on top without stealing the window focus. Any why does it steal focus in this arbitrary way but doesn't when when you manually focus the clip-fx window and use an edito window shortcut. Doesn't seem like an intended design. When I disable "always on top" I can't see the EQ when working in the edit window.
BTW: this happens ONLY after a dialogue-box has appeared. Regardless if it's the fade-window of any other notification that you just have to OK so it happens hundreds of times a day. Also none of the other floating windows disable edit window shortcuts in this way. I have now docked the clip-fx and all works fine. But it's a shame to waste all that real estate at the bottom of the edit window. Frank. P.S.: thanks for creating the case David.
