Upgrading!
Hello,
I currently use PT MP 9 which i bought on ebay along with ILOK key, it's working very well, my question is. Can i make an upgrade to PT 10 without having to remove PT9 from my lap top and will all my plug-in settings stay as they are once the upgrade is done? I want PT 10 for the Clip Gain etc! Any advice will be very much appreciated! Skiffle |

Re: Upgrading!
no, not the same boot disk. you could do a separate boot disk
maybe, make a backup to be safe (copy the settings folder to a separate drive)

Re: Upgrading!
And if you purchasr a Pro Tools 9MP to Pro Tools 11 upgrade (which also includes a Pro Tools 10 licenses, the only way you can purchase a Pro Tools 10 license today that from Avid) then as a part of that you are required to surrender your Pro Tools 9 MP license. If you dont' want to do that yuou need to purchase a new full license for Pro Tools.
