S/pdif I/O and an MPC=static noise
I tried to hook an MPC2000 up via S/PDIF. The sound was great except for a slight static crackle every so often. Anyway to fix this??

Re: S/pdif I/O and an MPC=static noise
Make sure the digital clock is set to SPDIF in Protools , and the clock is set to internal on MPC. Those clicks are when the digital slave can't lock to the sample rate of the incoming signal. This happens with light pipe all the time.

....And make sure your session is 44.1khz sample rate. MPC support 44.1 only I think
