Looking to buy a ProTools 10 HD license if anyone's got one they're keen to get rid of!

Be sure to check with Avid on any used PTHD software purchases (without hardware), "regarding policies".

what new policies? I emailed sales and they just said they were not aware of any new policies - just that if you purchase outside of avid store, there is no 30-day return policy...

Avid “sales” deals only with new PTHD software bundled WITH new hardware.

I'm wondering what is going to happen to PT10HD purchased separately from hardware when PT11 upgrade time comes around.... I kind of hope people buying these unbundled licenses understand the risks, and then still it may be worth it to them even if they can never upgrade that license.

Currently you can no longer transfer PT 10 HD licenses through iLok. One should check with Avid Customer support regarding transfer's.
