Default iPod Touch/iPad as wireless controler for PT

Is there an App for iPod Touch/iPad/iPhone for remote control PT on Mac? Does anyone have personal experience with it? It is a serious tool or only a gadget? I think such app could be very practical tool for some who is all in one - musican and PT operator, because it is rare to play the bass or drums in the front of computer.

There's an app called pro remote. I haven't tried it personally.
You can do it for free with screen sharing. Well, not free, because you need a vnc app for the ipad (iteleport is the best imho).

If you can wait a little, Neyrinck announced an ipad app shown at AES. There will be two versions, lite, and pro.

Pro Remote LE or PRo remote, both from Far Out Labs - folabs.com.

Works great on an iPad for multiple channels and syncs with WiFi - no problems whatsover. I have the LE version. Haven't tried it yet with my iPhone.

There are several ways to do it, depending on how much control you want. If you need faders and pans and such remotely, you need Pro Remote or similar, but at $100 you better need it pretty badly.

If you only need transport and location control, there are solutions in the $5 range. I use Snap on my iPhone 3G with a custom interface that gives me the full number pad, plus pre/post-roll toggle and input monitor toggle. I love it. It works instantly and flawlessly for punching my way through an audio or MIDI track from across the room or even another room. The only drawback is that it requires a macro program to translate the key-commands to number pad keystrokes, so you have to remember to turn that on when you go remote and turn it back off when you get back to your desk. But for a $5 solution, I can live with that.

The Pro version is $100; the LE version is $19 and works fine.

Oh cool! It used to be $40. $20 is a more reasonable price. Might just be worth it. Thanks for the heads up!

Waiting is no problem. Thanks for this hint. Did you mean this?

Unfortunately this is only iPad App. Yes, I wrote in the title "iPod Touch/iPad" but I have at the moment no iThing and I plan only an iPod Touch.
