Default Access violation! Lost all session information!

Hello,

I have been having a problem with PTLE on two different systems (a 002R and a 003R).

When I go to close a session, sometimes it comes up with an error message that says "Access Violation." From here, what happens is that next time I go to open the session it launches, but no windows are up. I bring up the Mix/Edit windows and there are only a few tracks in the session and those are empty with no audio files in them!

In other words, I have lost all of my session!!

Has anyone else experienced this? I am installing from back-ups like crazy, but this is very disconcerting because if I close a session at anytime it could null all of my work out.

Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me?

Default Re: Access violation! Lost all session information!

Hey nz,

Man that sucks! I am not experiencing the same problem, however I too get the "Access Violation" error message. When this message appears, it will not go away even if you press the OK tab and I have to Force Quit ProTools.

This happens when I zoom in and out while editing.

Few users get this error message it seems. There was another thread about this:
