tc's reverb 6000 ?

does anybody know how much tc electronic's reverb 6000 (digital only model) cost w/ icon remote ?
i know system 6000 w/ icon cost approx. $8000.
also is the reverb 6000 fully upgradable to the system 6000. if so for how much more ? anybody w/ any info on this ? thanks

I'm not sure but the Reverb 6000 is the same as the System 6000 with only reverb engines so the price should be almost the same as the basic system6000 unit because you pay for some of the algorithms of the system 6000

As you buy any algorithm that is not reverb, it will transform on a system 6000.

A System-6000 with only reverb, no options, is identical to the Reverb-6000.

TC's website is EXTREMELY confusing.

Once you get it, you will realize the price didn't matter. I have had my sytem 6000 for two years now, just updated to the new software version which included the reverb pak and am totally blown away again. and no Im not a rep. I just totally believe that finally a company got it right from converters through interface.

A Reverb 6000 only Digital streets around $7300 here in Switzerland, I think the prices are comparable over the globus.

Get one, it is a good machine.

I upgraded from the 5000 last year. What a great machine! Four digital engines, AES in and out (no AD/DA cards) with the MD mastering tool box ( all four run simulatneously), list price was about 8K. I got 3000 or so for the 5000 trade. This device with the TC Icon, is smooth sounding, integrates seemlessly into my set up and is easy to navigate. And this later is a good thing as there are many thing to navigate. And it locks to external word and runs with incomming SMPTE code.
