I just double-checked: in 10.3.7 it says that no valid authorization was found for Eleven.dpm, still it does show up and can be used in DSP and Native (next to Eleven Free). In 11.0.1 it doesn't complain about authorization, but also doesn't show up in the mono plug-ins list. Very confusing!

No valid authorization for Eleven.dpm is referring to the TDM/RTAS version. Delete it from the Digidesign plugins folder.

If you installed the 11 AAX version, trash the plugin database and make PT11 rescan the plugins.

I just did what you suggested, and there's no authorization issue with PT10 anymore, but it's still working. It doesn't show up in PT11 though despite trashing the database. I guess I'll just re-install everything and see if that works.

Oh, and one more thing: when I delete Eleven AAX and re-install it, it creates Eleven Free.aaxplugin as soon as I start PT11 (but none of the plug-ins is showing up). Even when I delete Eleven.aaxplugin Eleven Free doesn't show up. Very strange!

Pro Tools 11 scans and reinstalls any of its base set of plugins missing from the plugins folder at startup.

Not trying to bump this thread too far, but I've noticed that Avid updated the wording in one of their support pages a few weeks ago:

"Eleven LE and Smack! LE Owners: The Native and HDX DSP AAX versions of Smack! and Eleven can be authorized by either the full (TDM) iLok license or the Native (LE) iLok license. The LE authorizations for these 2 plug-ins now unlock the full feature set of the AAX versions, the same as the full authorizations."

Had some trouble getting these to authorize myself using the new installers (drag and drop AAX files in a DMG), but they finally took after installing some other plugins. If this was mentioned before, please forgive. Just nice to see that Avid acknowledged the change!
