"If I cancel a current Pro Tools 2021 subscription will the Pro Tools 11 perpetual license I own still be valid."

Well that *entirely* depends on what you did, and you should know what you did, or be able to work it out e.g. from purchase confirmation emails and seeing if you have a valid Pro Tools 11 perpetual license in your iLok account.

If you took advantage of an Avid marketing promotion to get a lower cost subscription, then you voluntarily surrendered that Pro Tools 11 perpetual license to get that promotion. It is gone, never to be seen again.

If you just totally separately purchased a Pro Tools subscription and did not voluntarily surrender your Pro Tools perpetual license to get a discount subscription then you still own that license, and can use it to run Pro Tools 11.

Even if you own a valid Pro Tools 11 perpetual license, you cannot purchase a upgrade for any perpetual license from Avid, they have only run update/support plan reinstatement purchases recently during marketing promotions. (last one ended last December). You can ask dealers if they might have access to old stock from that promotions. Be careful you need to buy a support/update plan *reinstatement* not a support/update plan annual extension... the latter requires you have a current support/update plan on your perpetual license. Make sure you are dealing with a sales rep who knows what they are doing. My first call would be to Vintage King, no idea if they have these still available or not.

If you can't buy a reinstatement can you install and run Pro Tools 11 on whatever operating system version you are now running? You can find the Pro Tools compatibility table online.
