Default Some actual demonstrations of Thunderbolt Devices

I just saw this on 9to5mac.com and wanted to post links to these tests. It gives a little more info on how a couple of these devices work.

One is for the LaCie Little Big Disk with Thunderbolt:

And the other is the Promise Pegasus multidrive storage bays:

I would like to see even more for Thunderbolt. I feel like everyone is just teasing, and not releasing anything. I think Apple wanted to rush the port out as well.

Well USB3 has been out for a lot longer, but I still have yet to see anything particularly impressive that really takes advantage of the extra bandwidth.

New connections take a long time to catch on, but TBolt sounds promising. You also have to consider that the only computers with it so far are Macbooks and iMacs. When more platforms start adopting it, I think we'll see more progress from peripherals.

If I were a developer and I knew thunderbolt was coming, I wouldn't finalize any USB-3 interface until I knew it worked ok with a USB-3 hub fed from thunderbolt and I'd really want it to work with both. I'd also want to be sure it worked with both macs and PCs.
