are you familiar with UPM-1 Plug-in: Stereo to 5.1?

I need to convert some stereo files to 5.1 for a DVD
I tried the Waves plug and it's ok but not great
it is a pretty standard band, drums, bass, guitars, etc...
anybody familiar with this UPM-1 plug?
